This series below handmade carved bone fish hooks were inspired by the chamber nautilus. If you have ever see a cross-section of this sea creature, you will recognize the shape and also the stylized “chambers'“ of the shell. I have rendered them to look like fish hooks to give you protection on the water, in the tradition of the Maori people.
