I create unique hand-made pieces of jewelry that are ready for the beach.  As a Florida-based artist, scuba-diver, treasure-hunter and jewelry-designer, I've created jewelry that endures an active life-style that includes plenty of salt water.  My bone carving references traditional tribal fishhook patterns of the South Pacific, whales, sharks, sea horses and sea creatures both real and imagined.   All my materials are selected for the beach and the sea. I also create free-form cabochon pieces and sell rough stone.

Returns Policy

Description of Beach Cut, LLC's returns policy, privacy policy and more.

What is the return policy?

My ultimate goal is customer satisfaction, and if you are not fully satisfied with your purchase, Beach Cut Designs will accept returns for either an exchange/store credit or a full refund within 14 days from the delivery date (30 days in the month of December). After 14 days from the delivery date, Beach Cut Designs will accept returns subject to the following conditions. All items can be returned for an exchange or store credit up to 30 days from the delivery date without any extra charges. No refunds or exchanges will be permitted after 30 days from the delivery date.

If you would like to make a return, please follow the steps noted below.

Email me at BeachCut Jim @gmail.com (no spaces) with RETURN written in the subject line.  Please include your order # and indicate the reason for your return. Please also indicate in your email if you would like a refund or an exchange.

Please pack the items in the original box for shipping. Beach Cut Designs is not responsible for items damaged or lost in transit, so please ship your return with an insured mail service and retain your receipt.

Once I receive the return, I will inspect the product to ensure the returned items are in good condition and not damaged. If the inspection is passed, refunds will be processed immediately. For exchanges, the replacement item will be shipped to you For refunds, the credit card used for the initial purchase will be refunded for the merchandise amount. Please allow 3-5 days for the refund to post to your account depending on the credit card company’s processing time.

 

All sales are final on custom made pieces and on permanently discounted or marked down merchandise. Sale or clearance items are NOT eligible for return or exchange.

Is your location open to the public?

Unfortunately, my design studio is not open to the public.

Can I change or cancel my order?

Once the order has been placed, it cannot be changed online. If your order has not yet shipped, I’ll try to catch it before it goes out the door. Most orders process and ship immediately (excluding weekends and holidays). If it has not yet been processed I can cancel your order so that you can place it once more with the correct items. Please Contact me immediately (BeachCut Jim @gmail.com) [no spaces] to notify me of any changes you would like to make on your order.

Can I return items purchased from an authorized retailer?

All orders purchased from an authorized retailer cannot be returned directly to us. Please contact the authorized retailer for further assistance.

When do I get my refund once I have returned an item?

Once your item has been received, it may take up to 3-5 business days for the refund to post depending on your card-issuing bank.

How long will it take to receive my order?

Once you placed an order with me, please allow up to 1 – 2 business days for processing orders.  Orders will be shipped out in 5 to 7 business day. If you need something by a certain date, please send me an email at BeachCut Jim @gmail.com (no spaces). I will always do my best to accommodate your requests and I appreciate your understanding and patience.

Can I ship to multiple addresses?

Currently, you can only enter one shipping address per order.

Do you ship internationally?

Unfortunately, not at this time.

What is our warranty policy and who do I contact if my Melinda Maria jewelry is damaged?

Our standard product warranty policy is 12 months from the date of purchase. This warranty covers any material defects but does not apply to standard wear and tear. Should anything happen to your Beach Cut jewelry within 12-months of purchase please Contact Us. I will replace the damaged item with a new piece of jewelry.

Do you charge sales tax?

Sales tax: All Florida purchases will be charged the mandatory 6.0% state sales tax. 

What is your repair policy?

If you receive a damaged product, please let me know within 7 days of receiving the product to be eligible for a no-charge repair.

Repairs

Repairs outside of 7 days from your order are subject to availability of materials/type of materials and degree of repair. Please email me with the problem (pictures are very helpful!) and I'll do my best to work out a solution. There may be a small materials fee for repairs or replacement of materials as well as return postage for repair jobs.

How do I care for my jewelry?

Each piece of my jewelry is handcrafted and beach ready.  Go ahead and wear your necklace in the water. Excessive contact with lotions, colognes & chemicals will deteriorate the bone and semi-precious stones. My jewelry clasps are sterling silver and stainless steel and can be cleaned with a polishing cloth or jewelry cleaner. Sterling beads can be expected to develop a nice patina. Excessive polishing is unnecessary and not recommended.

The materials I use (natural bone, stone, sterling silver) are natural.  Therefore they may vary in shape, size and color. Inclusions can be seen in semi-precious stones and is a part of their natural beauty. Most semi-precious beads have a matte finish and are not intended to shine.  Stone and bone beads do not stand the force of cleaning agents.

What is your privacy policy?

I will not sell, share or trade any information you supply to us with a third party. Any information I collect is used to provide you with a better shopping experience and to notify you via email of promotions and upcoming sales. If you would prefer not to receive these promotional items, you may opt by clicking on the unsubscribe option at the bottom of our emails.
